The Women’s Ministry at Dublin Baptist Church is based on Proverbs 31:30 “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.”. Their goal is to become godly women and their purpose is to love with God’s love and develop strong ministries that will: reach lost women; teach, care for, and minister to the needs of all women; to love and support one another building strong relationships; keeping all we do Christ-centered. There are many different ways to get involved with the women’s ministry; from weekly bible studies, to fellowship activities, conferences, retreats, and many service opportunities. Call the church office (614-889-2307) of talk to someone on the women’s ministry team and we’ll get you plugged in! Please see the Women’s Ministry Bulletin Board and/or the Welcome Centers for registration information on upcoming events. Bible Study/Discipleship – Two semesters of Bible studies are offered each year from September to December and February to May. A variety of studies are available. Fellowship – Fellowship activities include a Spring Brunch, Fall Retreat, Book Talks, Coffees, and Christmas Tea. Conferences – The Women’s Ministry organizes group outings to conferences such as Women of Faith and Beth Moore’s Living Proof. These are great times of building friendships as well as receiving encouragement by hearing outstanding Christian women speak in person. Angel Tree Program – Bless a child this Christmas by participating in this local ministry for children in the Columbus area. Operation Christmas Child – Bring a smile to a child’s face this Christmas. PDHC (Pregnancy Decision Health Center) – May Walk/Run event and Baby Bottle Fundraisers benefit these centers.
