 Vacation Bible School - July 14-18, 2008 - 9am - 12:00pm
Surf's up, so grab your surfboard and head for the waves! During VBS 2008, kids will know, speak, and live God's truth—aloha style. Based on Psalm 86:11, "Outrigger Island" is more than a tropical paradise. It's the place where kids will develop the stability they need to face a world of shifting sands and wavering opinions.

Nursery
Available during all worship services and special events. Our foremost goal is to surround our nursery children with love. As we care for their basic needs, we will help them develop a sense of safety and a sense of being loved.
Preschool Sunday School
Preschool Sunday School is offered at both the 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services. Preschoolers learn simple truths about God, Jesus, church, family, and the Bible through hands-on activities that use their five senses. A security card system is used in order to ensure proper child pick-up.
Sunday School for Kids in K - 5th Grades Grade level classes are offered with the goal of helping children learn about the contents and the message of the Bible.

 My Father's House
My Father's House is worship designed for children in K - 5th grade. MFH is designed to help our children experience God through exciting worship that leads to salvation and life application of godly principles. This action-packed hour includes a snack, awesome music, hands-on interaction, and a weekly challenge from God's Word!
Kindergarten - 2nd grade worship at 9:00 am!
3rd - 5th grade worship at 10:30 am!

Wednesday Night Activities
 Mission Friends
Mission Friends meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. and introduces our preschoolers aged two years old to Kindergarten to real missionaries and the unique cultures and people with whom they are sharing God's Word.
Girls in Action  Girls in Action (GA's) meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. during the school year. GA's is a missions organization for girls in 1st - 5th grade. This ministry encourages girls to learn what missionaries do, pray for missionaries and their work, discover how to help people, save and give money to help tell other people about Jesus, learn about people around the world, and have fun with friends.  Royal Ambassadors Royal Ambassadors is a club for boys in grades 1-5 that meets weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. during the school year to study, support, and do missions. The program reflects the Holy Bible as God's Word, a cooperative approach to missions, and an emphasis on the local Baptist church. The RA program includes an awards system, self study books, and interest activities in club format to increase the interest level of children.
Weekday Activities
Daycare for busy moms! Our Mom's Day Out program has been designed as an outreach ministry of Dublin Baptist Church. Our purpose is to provide a happy, safe, caring, Christian environment in which preschoolers can learn and develop their skills while encouraging the families of these children to make spiritual growth and active church participation part of their daily lives.
Our objectives:
Expose the children to the teachings of the Bible.
Provide these children with positive memories of being in a church setting.
Offer skills and information preschoolers need for Kindergarten.
Provide an environment where social interaction is encouraged.
Enable children to develop separation skills necessary for growth.
Establish a relationship between the families of these children and Dublin Baptist Church.
The Mom's Day Out program accommodates children 18 months to 5 years of age. Your child's birthday needs to fall between Oct. 1, 2002 through March 1, 2006 to qualify for the 2008-2009 school year. We are unable to enroll children eligible for Kindergarten, even if they are not attending. Our school year is from early September to late May. We have breaks compatible with Dublin Public Schools. We do not have a summer program.
There are three sessions of Mom's Day Out (MDO) each week: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Each child may attend two (2) sessions per week. Mom's Day Out program hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Children are placed in a class according to their birthday so their classmates will be of similar age. We do not require children to be potty trained.
Our teachers are employees of Dublin Baptist Church. Each one has been through the Dublin Baptist Church Childhood Protection Plan, which includes fingerprinting and a background check. There will always be at least two teachers in your child's classroom. The teachers work from a written lesson plan, carrying out seven or eight different activities with the children. Each week we focus on a different Bible story or thought. We will reinforce these with crafts, games, books and music, etc. Throughout the year we also cover the letters of the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, opposites, and major holidays. Children will visit or be visted by our Story Time teacher, Music teacher, and Science teacher. Each week they will have an opportunity to play on our playground or large motor skills room called "The Rock". Children three years and up will also visit our Art teacher.
Registration for the 2008-2009 school year began on March 3rd. Forms can be picked up in the church office. Our annual registration fee and monthly tuition are very affordable.
