Beliefs

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible word of God, and that it is of supreme and final authority for our faith and practice.

We believe that there is one true God, eternally existing in three persons – the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ and in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary death for our sins, His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven to serve as our High Priest, and His personal bodily return in power and glory.

We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit, in His baptism and indwelling of each believer at the moment of conversion, and in His filling to empower believers for holy living and service.

We believe in an essential and eternal salvation by God’s grace alone, received as a gift of God through personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

We believe in one true church, the Body of Christ, composed of all true believers of the present age, and the organization of its members in local autonomous churches for worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry and evangelism.

We believe the Christian should observe, through the local church, the two symbolic ordinances of our Lord Jesus Christ, which are believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper.

We believe the Christian should, by God’s grace, live a life of righteousness manifested by seeking to be Christ – like in attitudes and actions, which includes practicing moral purity, engaging in compassionate service, maintaining the sanctity of life and family, making peace according to God’s Word, exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit, and maintaining a life of prayer.

We believe in the conscious existence of the dead, the resurrection of the body, the judgment and reward of believers, the eternal life of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.

We believe it is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ and of every church of the Lord Jesus Christ to seek constantly to make Christian disciples of all people, locally, nationally and internationally.
